18 teams turned up to ride the 10 mile 2-up event on 7th August.
Part of the Hawk Plant 2-up Time Trial series, the night saw some pretty good conditions which promised some quick times. No less than 8 pairs rode the course breaking the 25mph barrier for the average speed taken to ride the event.
Youngsters Ewan Grivell-Mellor (who is just 14yrs) and George Evans from the Mid-Shropshire Wheelers showing their more senior rivals a clean pair of wheels, stopping the clock in a stunning time of 22mins 08secs. Rick Nickless and Ed Middleton of Nova Raiders CC took second spot just 9secs down on the winners (22:17) with Ian Wedge and Steve York of Wrekinsport completing the podium a further 11secs in arrears (22:28).
Top Hafren CC pairing were Graham Harris and Medwyn Jones in 4th place with 22mins 55secs.
