Hafren CC TT Series Round 11 – 13th July Berriew 25

A great evening for racing saw 23 riders tackle the popular Berriew – Four Crosses 25 mile course

Fastest on the night was Men’s winner Bryn Davies whose 56:29 saw him top the table again for the 8^th time in 8 outings in this year’s series. With Ian Nisbett (57:55) beating Pete Thomas (57:56) by less than a second the podium had a familiar look to it. Dilwyn Griffiths (fourth) missed out on breaking 60 mins with 60:01. (He was invited to have another go, but declined)

In the Women’s event Lucy Davies took top spot in her second ride on the series. Her 66:29 was good enough for 15^th overall and pushed Emma Serjeant (73:18) into second and Louise Downward (76:28) into third

Thanks to the marshals Diane Paul and Elwyn Turner and event organizer Tony Brooks. Cakes by Andy Griffiths and Mark Hill (proceeds to Severn Hospice) rounded out a great evening of tough racing and fast times
