TT5The first TT after the mid-season break to accommodate traffic from the Royal Welsh show clashed with Wrekinsport’s 2 up TTT. With Hafren riders in Telford two laps of the hilly Forden Circuit saw a small field of 17 (bolstered by Liz and Jon Batt from Buxton CC)

Liz Batt was fastest in the Women’s race posting an impressive 43:58, with Louise Downward getting maximum points as first Hafren woman with 54:55

In the men’s event Bryn Davies topped the table again with 37:11 to round out a familiar top three with Pete Thomas taking second (39:07) and Phil Thomas (39:51) edging Conrad Taylor (41:40) into fourth

The very tight turn at Montgomery was well marshalled by Paul and Max Bufton, helping to keep this tricky turn safe, thanks guys

Tony Brooks was his normal excellent Time Keeper and Event Organizer (thanks Tony) and Graham Harris provided enough cake for double the field (proceeds to Severn Hospice), nice work Graham
