Membership subscription for 2014 are due in January, if you haven’t paid please pay now. We hope that you want to continue to support and ride with the club through your Hafren CC membership.
We have a full programme of events this year. As well as the club’s Time Trial Series and Hill climbs, Hafren members are entering open TTs, Road Races, CycloCross, Sportives, Crits, Enduros and more.
Hafren is also actively promoting a youth section, providing British Cycling certified coaches to help and encourage the next generation of cyclists.
The club is a not for profit organization and has to meet the costs of promoting cycle sport in the area from subscriptions and event entrance money. The Club values your support which it needs to flourish and to continue to promote the best sport in the world – cycling.
If you intend to join, please pay your annual subscription now. It’s easy to do and there is a discount on the cost of membership if paid by 28th February. (£12.50 for full membership, £7.50 for under 16s and second claim)
If you use internet banking please e-mail steve@ukictltd.com for the bank details and to confirm you membership number.
Cheques, payable to Hafren CC, can be sent to Hafren CC, C/O Steve Taylor, 2 Dairy Cottages, Welshpool, SY21 8RF or given to Tony or Sharon at Brooks Cycles. You don’t need to complete a membership form unless your details have changed, just put your membership number on the back of the cheque.
You can also leave cash with Tony or Sharon at Brooks’s.
Please remember that the club’s TT points competition is only open to club members and is based on 8 counting rides, if you join part way through the season previous rides don’t count. Entrance fee for TTs is £3.00 for club riders and £4.00 for non-members, so if you want to ride the TTs it is better to pay your club subs now.
