Club Social and Club Kit Night.
Monday 17th September 7:30 Monty’s Brewery Visitors Centre.
Tactic Sport are sending us samples of their winter clothing range and these will be available to inspect for quality and try for size at our Club Social Night at Monty’s Brewery. Come along and have a Craft Beers with your club mates and look at the new winter jerseys.
The Club’s Cyclocross Championship 2018 will be decided by the best 3 rides in the 4 following events:-
This years’ Club Cyclocross Championships will be decided on the best 3 of 4 results in the following Welsh CX rounds. We introduced a competition last year to encourage riders to support the most local races in Welsh Cyclocross league, which includes our round at Newtown and it provided a tough and lively competition. It encouraged more members to ride more events and much muddy fun resulted. So we are doing it again for 2018. The four qualifying rounds are:-
23rd September – Foxley
30th September – Aberystwyth
13th October – Carmarthen
21st October – Newtown
Cyclocross is a good fun way to get into racing for novice and new riders. There are male and female trophies for the best racer in each category.
