Great racing conditions with a warm, dry and still night, saw a smaller than normal field as many regular competitors were on holiday. This didn’t stop fast times on a very competitive night, with Pete Thomas taking top spot in the men’s event in under 30 minutes on the longer version of this course. Phil Thomas was second (31.02) with a tie for third between Conrad Taylor and Dilwyn Griffiths (31.47)

The women’s event was taken by Louise Downward (38.45) with Jackie Harris(39.39) and Sahrah Wilding (40.10) rounding out the podium

Carl Evans and Chris Hill marshalled and Tony Brooks was the time keeper. Thanks for a great job.

Neil Vose kindly provided the cakes (proceeds to Severn Hospice)
