The Montgomery Sports awards recognise and reward the achievements of local athletes and teams, and mark the contribution made to local sport by local coaches, volunteers and sports leaders.
The club had been nominated in several categories: Volunteer, Coach, Club of the Year and Sports Personality of the Year
A successful night saw podium placings for all the nominations, acknowledging the hard work and commitment from all the volunteers at the club and the sporting achievements of club members
Paul Bufton – Coach of the Year 3rd
Jackie Harris – Volunteer of the Year 2nd
Bryn Davies and Rebecca Richardson – Sports Personality of the Year Joint 2nd
Hafren CC – Club of the Year 1st
These accolades help the club thrive, showing that Hafren CC is run for the benefit of its members, promotes cycle sport and cycling, encourages new participants, nurtures young riders and competes at a high level
