Club TT Series – Round 11 – Course :– Berriew 10 Course
On Wednesday 31st July 2024 Hafren CC held round 10 of the clubs TT series on the Berriew 10 Mile Course.
17 riders signed on (our biggest turn out this year) on perfect weather conditions for fast times – warm, little windy and dry.
In the Clubs Championship Chris Lewis was the winner on the night with a time just under 22 mimutes of 21.59. Well done Chris at last under 22 minutes. Sam Holwill was second in the Championship with a time of 22.41 and Mark Hill came third with a season best time of 23.02 (nearly under 23 minutes Mark well done).
Jan Davies came first for the ladies on the night with a season best time on the Berriew Course of 25.36. This almost secures her the ladies chamionship for 2024. Olivia Hughes is getting quicker with a time of 26.38 and I am sure she will push Jan for the remaining 3 rounds. Louise Hurdley was 3rd on the night with again a season’s best of 27.30.
The road bike best time was won by Sam Holwill with Xander Brandon-Higgs 2nd on 23.13 (excellent time Xander) and Mick Case 3rd with a seasons best of 24.53.
It was good to see some other riders from other clubs (Mark Milton, Rob Kerr, Chris Marrs, Robin Shedden and Helen Tudor) some great times from you all and we hope to see you at further events this year.

The next club event is round 12 of the TT series on the Welshpool 12 mile course on Wednesday 7th August and entries are open on Eventbrite. We have 3 more rounds so all riders need to make sure they count towards the end of year……
