Club TT Series – Round 12 – Course :– Welshpool 12
On Wednesday 7th August 2024 the club held round 12 of the Hafren TT Series on the Welshpool 12 mile course.
11 riders signed in and it was a dry but very windy evening for being on the TT bike. A tailwind out but a furious hind wind back from Four Crosses.
In the Clubs Championship Sam Holwill was the winner on the night with a personal best time on the Welshpool course of 24.17, well done Sam you are flying this year and I am sure the tailwind on the outward leg may have helped. Chris Lewis was second on the night with a time of 25.10 and third again was Mark Hill with a great time of 26.16.
Jan Davies was again the lady to beat on the night with an excellent time of 29.12, but Olivia Hughes is catching her up and came second on the night with a time of 29.50. Helen Tudor from OPCC was third on the night with a time of 29.56.
The road bike best time was won by Sam Holwill with Mick Case second on 28.34 and Simon Evans from MSW third on 30.07.

The next club TT is on the 14th August 2024 on the Berriew 10 Mile course and you can enter on Eventbrite.
