Club TT Series – Round 14 – Course :– Welshpool 12
On Wednesday 21st August 2024 the club held round 14 (the final round) of the Hafren TT Series on the Welshpool 12 mile course.
11 riders signed in on what proved to be challenging conditions on the night. An amazing tailwind out and horrendous headwind back.
In the Clubs Championship Chris Lewis secured the win on the night with a time of 25.21, Sam Holwill was second on the night with a time of 25.54 and Mark Hill and impressive third on the night with a time of 26.27.
Helen Tudor from OPCC took the best ladies time on the night of 30.44 and Louise Hurdley west best time for HCC with a time of 31.48. Can I thank Helen for her support this year and riding nearly all of the clubs TT’s. I hoped you enjoyed it.
The road bike best time was won by Sam Holwill on the night and Mick Case was second with a time of 29.10 and Ben Sully very closely third with a time of 29.11.
Can I also thank Chris Marrs and all the other riders from other clubs for supporting the TT series this year. I hope you’ve enjoyed the racing and we look forward to seeing you again next year.
