Club TT Series – Round 4 – Course :– Berriew 10
On Wednesday 22nd 2024 the club had it’s Fourth round of the 2024 TT series on the Berriew 10 Mile course
11 riders signed in and on what was looking like a wet evening, as it had rained all day, actually turned out not too bad with a tailwind out and a tough headwind back.
In the Clubs Championship Max Bufton came first when a stunning time of 20.27, Sam Holwill was second on his road bike with a time of 22.39 and I (Neil Vose) was third again with a time of 23.59 narrowly beating my rival Mark Hill who had an excellent time on the night of 24.04. It just goes to show that even though you might not have the best times of the night you can your own little battles with each other. Well done Mark and better luck next week…..
Jan Davies was again the best lady on the night with an excellent time of 26.07 and Jess Bufton was second with a consistant time of 29.28. Keep it going Jess and you will catch Jan soon enough.
The road bike best time was won by Sam Holwill with Neil Bowden second (25.19) and Mick Case third (27.43). It was also good to see Glyn Jones returning to racing and well done on your time (28.47)
Thanks to Des Pugh (TimeKeeper) and to Paul Bufton & Mike Williams for marshalling duties and Tony Brooks for marshalling on the Tesco Island..
Next Wednesday 29 May 2024 we have the next round of the TT series on the Welshpool 12 mile course and entries are now live on Eventbrite.
