Hafren CC Hill Climb

This years Hafren CC Hill Climb took place on the Pentre’r-Beirdd climb just outside Welshpool. Thanks to all involved in the organisation and running of the event. These include Des Pugh, Jason Arnold, Mark Hill and Steve Taylor without whom the event wouldn’t have taken place.

Overall winner on the night was David Scott in a time of 3min 33secs. Second place went to Kirk Vickers who was only two seconds behind in 3mins 35secs. In third place was the first Hafren rider home, Tyler Brennan in 3mins 47secs. Second Hafren male was Sam Holwill (3min 53secs) and third Hafren rider was Fred Meredith (4min 18secs).

The women’s competition was won by Rebecca Richardson in 3mins 58secs with Lucy Lee second in 4min 35. Emma Serjeant was third (and first Hafren CC woman) in 5min 34 secs. Second Hafren female was Louise Hurdley (6min 20secs) and third Hafren female was Sahrah Wilding.
