Points Table to end of July

Below is the points table to the end of July with 2 counting events to complete the season.

Points of Note

2-ups do not count towards the HCC Time Trial Points competition.

Hillclimbs do not count towards the HCC Time Trial Points competition – this has a separate award and trophy.

The Open T.T. does not count towards the HCC Time Trial Points competition.

Only riders who are members are allocated points – this means that if you join the club after already riding as a guest, then you will not start amassing points until the date of your membership payment being made – points are not backdated.

Where there is a tie on time, riders with the same time are awarded the same points and the riders below are awarded the next points value – i.e. if two riders tie and are awarded 20 points, then the next best rider/time is awarded 19 points -, this was discussed at the last HCC Committee meeting and was agreed as the method to be used and has been the consistent method throughout 2014.

Riders position in the points table is based on their best 8 solo rides.

Riders who have ridden more than 8 events have their worst scores for any additional rides deducted, this is shown on the table below with a revised points tally alongside.
