SCCA Series Event hosted by Hafren CC
The promised rain held off and a light headwind on the return leg gave excellent conditions for the club’s first TT of the season. In a change to the SCCA calendar, Hafren’s round of the Coaching Revolutions 2 UP TT SCCA series is event number 2 this year and the strong field of 17 teams showed the benefit of hosting an early round. Two solo riders also got a run out and set a benchmark for their time of the course for this year in a Non Competition race against the clock. Hafren’s Sam Holwill partnered Mid Shropshire Wheelers’ James Sator and posted an impressive 21:34 to take gold on the night. Silver went to Ludlow Brewery RT pairing Steve Minton & Jack Wilson, with Hafren’s Pete Thomas & Bryn Davies taking Bronze
