Time Trial Points Table – 4 events to go!!

With just 4 points scoring events to go, it couldn’t be closer!!!!

Pete Thomas (despite his injury) still leads in the Men’s Championship, but that could all change once Ian Coe waves a marshals flag and gains his 10 bonus points. Graham Harris has already started to drop his lowest scoring rounds and on last weeks performance could be the one to watch, a couple of wins in the remaining rounds and the Championship could be his! Bryn Davies is waiting in the wings as well, just in case any of the top 3 falter. What of last years champion? well illness has laid Medwyn Jones low lately, but if he’s fit, then 3 wins might just put him in the mix too!!

In the Ladies Championship, Sahrah Wilding has a commanding lead, but she too is now dropping her worst scores and with 2 DNF’s to her name and another points scoring event to add, Jackie Harris has plenty of chance to close that gap. Louise Downward and Emma Sargeant currently look to be fighting it out for the third place, but could Sharon Brooks or Rebecca Cook sneak up on the rails and stake their claim on a podium place?

Many of the Category awards look to be going to those already mentioned, but in the Men’s Grand Vet category Steve & Chris Taylor don’t look to be sharing the spoils this year, Alun Roberts looks to have one hand on the title with two more events to add to his total. In the Senior Men’s Category Chris Roberts is top, but Conrad Taylor is snapping at his heels and I’m sure eager to restore family pride 😉

Top Schoolboy young Kallum Stait is narrowly leading Sam Holwill by 3 points, whilst our only Junior rider this year Huw Evans holds top spot by virtue of taking part in the seasons opener on Dolfor.

The Road Bike title looks pretty close too. Conrad Taylor has a 17 point advantage over Thomas Fränzel who holds a 12 point lead over Andy Griffiths, but Andy has one more points scoring round to add – it could all go down to the wire in this event as well!

Your top 9 scoring events from the 14 available count towards the club championships.

10 bonus points are awarded to all those who help marshal one of the points scoring events (this however only applies once!)

All competing members are expected to marshal at one points scoring event – if you haven’t already, you still have 4 events in which to do this.

Points are only awarded to club members, points are not backdated if you join mid-season and have already ridden as a Come & Try rider.

You category is based on your age on the 1st January of the racing year.
