10 Mile Time Trial Results – 21st August (Welshpool)

On what was reported to be a fairly windy evening, 22 riders took to the line for the final time-trial of the season. Winner on the night was Graham Harris who continued his consistent showing at the top of the time trial series, - not having been lower than 4th place all season. His 23mins 10secs was almost a full half minute quicker than Medwyn Jones (23:37) and over a minute ahead of third placed Ian Coe (24:15). The next Hafren CC event will be t

18 teams turned up to ride the 10 mile 2-up event on 7th August. Part of the Hawk Plant 2-up Time Trial series, the night saw some pretty good conditions which promised some quick times. No less than 8 pairs rode the course breaking the 25mph barrier for the average speed taken to ride the event. Race 9 REPORT, Welshpool 2-up

In weather conditions that were hot, but promised some fast times, 10 pairs took to the line in last week’s Hafren CC 2-up time trial.  2-up trials rely on riders working together as a team to achieve the fastest pace and there were some notable successes on the night. Race 8 REPORT, Newtown 12.5 mile TT (3/7/13)

Max Gethin returned to action last Wednesday after a two week absence and once again showed his dominance in Hafren CC’s 12.5 mile Time Trial in Newtown. 24 riders in total took to the start line but no one could get near to Max who knocked 18 seconds off his last run over the same course finishing in a time of 30.29.
