New Strava Club exclusive to Hafren CC members

Hafren CC Hill Climb

This years Hafren CC Hill Climb took place on the Pentre'r-Beirdd climb just outside Welshpool. Thanks to all involved in the organisation and running of the event. These include Des Pugh, Jason Arnold, Mark Hill and Steve Taylor without whom the event wouldn't have taken place. Overall winner on the night was David Scott in a time of 3min 33secs. Club TT Series – Round 12

The winner of this weeks time trial, held on the Berriew 10 mile course, was David Griffiths (guest rider) in a time of 19 mins 53 secs.  Second place went to Sean Grosvenor (Hafren) in 22 mins 33 secs and in third place was Carl Evans (Hafren) in 22 mins 44 secs.  First woman was Louise Hurdley in a time of 26 mins 46 secs. Thanks again to Des Pugh for running the event and Jason Arnold for assisting.  This weeks time trial was won by guest rider David Griffiths in 19 minutes 56 seconds.  Second was Hafren CC rider Sean Grosvenor in 22.37 and third was club member Carl Evans in 22.43.  The womens TT was won by Louise Hurdley in a time of 26.09. Next weeks time trial is on D10/8R (Welshpool 10) with signing on as usual in the car park of The Flash Leisure Centre from 18.15...
