Club TT Series – Round 8

Club TT Series – Round 7

Thanks To Des Pugh, Steve Taylor and Jason Arnold for organising and running last nights time trial.  The overall winner was Tyler Brennan with Carl Evans second.  Third was Pete Thomas and overall womens winner was Louise Hurdley. Club TT Series – Round 6

Eight riders lined up to take part in this weeks 25 mile time trial.  The weather was sunny with very little wind.  Everyone had warmed up, some more than others!  First over the line was Sam Holwill in a time of 57 minutes and 30 seconds with Carl Evans second in 58 minutes and 43 seconds.  Third went to Pete Thomas in 59 minutes and 33 seconds. Hafren CC Open TT Results

Tonights Open Time Trial was due to be 25 miles long but unfortunately, due to roadworks, had to be changed at short notice to the 10 mile course.  Thirty nine riders took to the start in almost perfect conditions.  There were two male competitors who crossed the line in exactly the same time of 20 minutes and 41 seconds, Thomas Brazier (Synergy Cycles Race Team) and David Williams (Velotik Racing Team).  Congratulations to you both.  ...

The fourth round of the Club TT Series was held on the Welshpool 10 (D10/8R) in wet and windy conditions.  Thanks to Des who was helped tonight by Thomas Fraenzel, Mike Holwill and Alun Roberts. The third round of the Club TT Series was held on the Berriew 25 mile course.  Seventeen riders took part (sixteen of them Hafren CC members).  The sun was shining and the slight wind was behind going out and against coming back. Club TT (Round 2)/SB Sports Series

The sun was shining and the wind wasn't blowing for tonights Club time trial, a joint event with the SB Sports Series.  Thirty five riders took to the start line and some very good times were posted.  Overall winner was Daniel Watts in a time of 20mins 17secs.  Second place went to Chris Halford, 20mins 47secs and third was Dean Callister in 21mins 33secs. Season Opener – 2up TT

SCCA Series Event hosted by Hafren CC The promised rain held off and a light headwind on the return leg gave excellent conditions for the club's first TT of the season. In a change to the SCCA calendar, Hafren's round of the Coaching Revolutions 2 UP TT SCCA series is event number 2 this year and the strong field of 17 teams showed the benefit of hosting an early round.
