With a change of format for 2015 the Hillclimb Championship was held over two climbs with the times taken for both and added together to give an aggregate time to provide this years Club Champion.
25 riders took to the line on a dry and warm Sunday morning.
Starting with Stage 1 and the climb from Guilsfield to the top of Pentre'r beirdd bank. This 2.9km climb averages 2.9% with an 89mtr elevation gain. Described as a roadman's climb rather than one ...
In a last minute change of course from Forden due to road works, riders took to the Welshpool 10 mile course for the final round of the Hafren TT Series.
Riders were treated to a massive tail wind on the outward leg, but that meant only one thing - a bruising headwind on the return!!
Ian Coe underlined his 'Champions' status with another fine win in testing conditions. His 23 minutes 15 seconds beat Bryn Davies by 8 seconds and Graham Harris rounding...
Stamping his authority on the 2015 Time Trial series, Ian Coe posted the fastest time in this weeks event held on the Newtown 12.5 mile course. Coe's 30 minutes 00 seconds at an average of 25 mph was enough to beat winner of the last two rounds Bryn Davies by 49 seconds. Early season series leader Pete Thomas finished third a further 7 seconds in arrears. Graham Harris (the joint series leader on points with Thomas before this event) finished another 4 sec...

Near perfect conditions faced the 27 riders who took to the line in the latest round of the Hafren CC Time Trial Series at Forden. With warm weather and a gentle breeze, the night promised some fast times and we weren't disappointed.
Bryn Davies posted the fastest time in the night. His 19 minutes 19 seconds is the fastest time on this course this year (although a slight change to start and finish points might have had a small bearing on that?) Coming i...
25 riders braved the elements to take part in Round 8 of The Coaching Revolutions 2-up Time Trial Series held on the Welshpool 10 mile course.
The rain had held off for much of the day, but right on cue the heavens opened to ensure that riders got a thorough soaking on what became a challenging night for all competitors. A strong SSE wind ensured a quick outward leg, but that wind combined with driving rain ensured that the homeward leg was a real battl...
Rain had threatened for much of the day, but the 28 riders that took to the line were fortunate to experience dry if not slightly chilly conditions. A strong wind on the outward leg promised a favourable tail wind back to Newtown via Caersws, but most riders reported that it was still tough coming home and many were slower than on previous outings. Coupled to this some resurfacing work soon after the start made for some 'sketchy' riding on some of the open...
With just 4 points scoring events to go, it couldn't be closer!!!!
Pete Thomas (despite his injury) still leads in the Men's Championship, but that could all change once Ian Coe waves a marshals flag and gains his 10 bonus points. Graham Harris has already started to drop his lowest scoring rounds and on last weeks performance could be the one to watch, a couple of wins in the remaining rounds and the Championship could be his! Bryn Davies is waiting in...
A warm night greeted the 21 riders who took to the line for the longest event in the Hafren C.C. 2015 Time Trial Series. Due to long term roadwork's this course has been off limits for some time, so many were glad to see it back on the calendar.
Graham Harris topped the men's podium for the first time this season, his 55 minutes 46 seconds beat top Hafren rider for the past four weeks Ian Coe by just 10 seconds. Pete Thomas now back from injury complete...
