Snowdonia Ride – Hafren CC
Following last year’s very successful ride round Keith’s back yard, there is another opportunity for a stunning day ‘s riding in North Wales.
The ride starts at 9:30am in Betws-y-Coed. There are car parks next to the train station. Get there early and you can park for free. There’s plenty of space.
The 68 mile route is:
Betws-y-Coed, Capel Curig, Nant Ffrancon Valley, Bethesda,Tregarth, Portdinorwic,Caernarfon (shop stop)
Groeslon, Carmel (new for this year), Penygroes, Nantlle, Rhyd Ddu, Beddgelert (optional shop stop)
Capel Curig, Betws-y-Coed
Ride should take 5 hours, so we should be back at Betws-y-Coed at 2:30pm. Pace will be suited to all. It’s recommended that people get there at 9am for a prompt start at 9:30am.
Really looking forward to this, will be my first time cycling around Snowdonia, bring it on!!
Well worth the trip, fantastic ride. One not to miss 🙂
