The club held it’s 10th round of the TT Championships on the Welshpool 12 Mile course on Wednesday 16th July 2025.
We had 8 riders racing this evening on a still, warm but overcast evening. A perfect evening really for riding the Welshpool Course as normally we have a tough headwind on the return leg from Four Crosses.
Mark Hill continues to show excellent form and looks like he will take the win this year as he was best time on the night with a time of 26.06. Neil Bowden (26.48) was second on the night and was on for a great time but traffic in Poolquay put pay to this. There is always next time Neil. Neil Vose (27.22) was third on the night.
Jan Davies took the best time on the night for the ladies with a time 30.10 (at least you had no mechanical issues this week Jan). Louise was second on the night with 31.36.
Mick Case took the win on the night for the road bike series with a time of 29.50 and is getting stronger and quicker as we enter the end of the season. Alun Roberts second on the night with a time of 30.51 and Alun’s quote of the night was “I could not have gone quicker”……

Next week was supposed to round 3 of the Road Bike TT Series but we have had to concel this as there is still roadworks on both our approved Road Bike TT Courses. Therefore we have a free week and will be back on the Berriew Course for Round 11 on Wednesday 30th July 2025.
