May 11th is a day to get mud on your tyres with the 20th Borderland Bike Challenge - 22 miles of off road riding through the Berwyn Mountains on routes not normally open to the public. The event is organized by Borderland Rotary, with sponsorship money going to Midlands and Wales Air Ambulances, St John's Ambulance Association and various other good causes.
