On behalf of Hafren Cycling Club, I would just like to pass on our sympathy to Gordon and Tony Brooks and all the family to the sad news of the passing of Vera, or Gran as she was fondly know to all at the club.
She passed away peacefully yesterday morning after a long battle with illness and will be dearly missed.

The event is centred on Shawbury and their are three distances making this suitable as a family run or a very enjoyable 100k sportive
We are planning a 'Kit Launch' to be held on Friday 4th April from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Brooks Cycles (Showroom) Welshpool with a migration to the Oak after. There will be Jersey size samples, a range of new kit to see and special prices on Snoods and Casquettes. Watch this space for more details.

Due to the extreme Winter weather, Kilo2Go made the decision to postpone last weekend's Cheshire Cat event. All participants should have received emails informing them of the decision, and giving them the option of moving their registration to the sportive's new date which is July 7th.

On the morning of Saturday 2nd March 2013, 12 members of Hafren CC layered up in preparation for a 80 mile ride around the Trans Cambrian route in preparation for the Cheshire Cat Sportive at the end of the month.
