I know it's nice that the council like to keep our roads pristine and pot hole free but why do they always seem to do it on our race night? Tonights 25 mile course was subject to roadworks near to Four Crosses so a decision was made by the organisers (Phil and Tony) to reduce the route and turn at the Livestock Market island. This meant that the course was just over half distance at 12.6 miles.

This weeks round of the Club TT Series incorporated the latest round of the SB Sports Series and therefore numbers were swelled slightly in comparison with recent weeks. A total of thirty eight riders lined up (including twenty three club members) to take on the Welshpool ten mile course with a slight headwind after the turn around at Four Crosses roundabout.

Round two of this years time trial series saw 28 riders tackle the Berriew 10 mile course for the first time. Conditions were as near to perfect as they could be and some very fast times were posted.

Roadworks on the course caused the evenings event to be drastically reduced to just over three miles and making it more of a season opening prologue. Nonetheless thirty riders took to the start. Starting the year as he finished last year, the winner was Bryn Davies in a time of 7 mins 57 secs with Ian Coe 20 seconds behind. First female (and third overall!) was Rebecca Richardson in 8 mins 22 secs.
