Tuesday 2nd July saw the Hafren pairing of Mike Filek & Ian Coe strike again at the Mid Shropshire Wheelers 10 mile 2up TT in Westbury.
A cool, dry evening boded well for a fast time, and a favorable outward breeze helped secure the boys 2nd place with a time of 24:09, shaving another 30 seconds off their previous 2up PB.

Fathers' day saw the 22nd version of this event. A different route from the last few years, taking in the Burway, characterized by quiet Shropshire Lanes and plenty of climbs. Wednesday 12th June saw Hafren CC hold round 8 of the Parker International Series in Welshpool as part of its ongoing time trial season. Steve York of Wrekinsport CC was on fire once more following four rounds entered, four rounds won.

Dragon 2-Day Race Report
3 members of Hafren CC headed off to Resolven in the Neath Valley to take part in the LVRC Dragon 2 Day cycling event. Riding in his first road event for almost 3 years, Rob Finch was joined by club team mates Rob Fisher and Mike Filek at the event which is for veteran riders over the age of 40.
