SCCA Reliability Rides 2018

The 2018 dates SCCA Reliability Ride Series have now been confirmed

Hafren will be promoting an event in this series for the second year following last year’s very successful inaugural event

It’s the same weekend – Sunday 8th April 2018. Can’t guarantee we will get the same fantastic weather as last year, but hopefully will get support form the Sunday club runs

These rides are a great way to vary the Sunday Run as you get the chance to ride with club riders from across the SCCA clubs.

Reliability rides are not races, but test of various cycling skills. Rides are run on time standards, so the fastest riders will aim for the shortest time standard, but the longest standard should be attainable by all club riders. You’ll have to navigate; the route is published with a cue sheet and (usually) GPX file. Routes are not marked, so navigation is part of the ride. The rides are also not supported, so no feed stations or broom wagons, but cafes are routed in. Please see the Ride Safe Page (Opens in New Window)

These rides are a great way ride in a group that is more than just your fellow club mates

As the time standards are (typically) 13mph, 15mph and 18mph they suit A & B group rides and we are hoping that both groups support our event on April
