Club TT Series – Round 5 – Course :– Welshpool 12
On Wednesday 29th May 2024 the club had it’s Fifth round of the 2024 TT series on the Welshpool 12 Mile course
10 riders signed in and on what looked like a dry and bright evening;it all changed on the way back when the there was a heavy rain shower, we had some personal best times.
In the Clubs Championship Sam Holwill was the winner on the night with a personal best time on the Welshpool course of 25.00, well done Sam you are flying this year, Neil Vose came second again with a personal best on this course with a time of 26.46 and Mark Hill was third on the night with 27.27.
Jan Davies was again the lady to beat on the night with an excellent time of 29.31, Helen Tudor from OPCC was second with a time of 29.57 and Louise Hurdely was third on the night with a great time of 31.06. Special mention to Jess Bufton as she completed the course in her best time this year with a time of 31.53 – keep going Jess you will catch them soon.
The road bike best time was won by Sam Holwill with Neil Bowden second (28.28) and Mick Case third (29.18).
Thanks to Des Pugh (TimeKeeper) and to Paul Bufton for marshalling duties on a wet night and thanks also to Mike Williams our official photographer for the night.
Next Wednesday is the Open TT on the Berriew Course and thanks to everyone who has volunteered to marshall. The club really appreciates you help and support with this.
The next club TT is on the 12th June 2024 on the Berriew Course and you can now enter on Eventbrite.
