Josh Williams sensationally lowered the County 25 mile record for his third event at the distance in a row as he made the Cyclotherapy Shropshire Championship 25, Round 11 of the Friction Hydraulics Series a memorable race. A winning streak continued for Matt Gibbons as the Nova Raider took Gold and The Gordon Davies Trophy in the Coaching Revolutions Shropshire Championship 10 presented by Paramount CRT in his first full season. 51 riders lined up for Round 4 of the Mid Wales MTB series yesterday in Newtown. There was a particularly strong turnout in the younger age groups with some future stars representing their clubs and showing off their skills. Luckily the heavy rain held off (just) and some close racing ensued. Full results are listed below. The final round of racing will be held on weekend of 5th August in Builth Wells

A red hot day saw Matt Gibbons take a maiden win in Round 9 of the Friction Hydraulics Series, the George Herbert Stancer Regional Championship for Schoolboys and Girls/Mid Shropshire Wheelers Open 10 at Waters Upton.
