On Sunday 11th December Hafren Youth Riders headed over to Manchester Velodrome to take part in Welsh Cycling's North Wales Cluster Session. It was a chance to follow in the wheel tracks of their cycling heros such as Bradley Wiggins and Laura Kenny.

Shropshire Cycling Clubs Association's 2016 prize winners were cheered on by a good turnout of over 80 supporters at Ellerdine Village Hall. Club runs converged from all points of the County thanks to a glorious Autumn morning for a well-received social and early lunch before trophies and medals were handed out. SCCA Chair Helen Tudor announced the winners, with stalwart timekeeper Gill Morrison handing over the trophies to recipients.

Every fancied a go on the wooden boards of a modern Velodrome? Well here’s your chance. Hafren CC is running a “Members Only” session at Derby Arena 12-2:00pm on Friday 9th December 2016
There will be a two-hour coached session. Sessions are suitable for any level of rider right from beginner stage
Costs – the session is subsidized and the cost will be £20.00 per rider, inclusive of bike hire
Travel – make arrangements and share with other members

The Club's junior coaches have been buy again with a great day of grass track racing.
Following an approach from Powys Sports Development Officer, Kate Preston the club helped organize and run an inter schools grass track competiton
