In order to prepare those that want to have a go at the grass track, this weeks coaching session will held on the fields where the grass track is taking place. To find them turn off the Welshpool bypass towards the Flash Leisure Centre, then turn immediately right. You can just pull up on the left and you should see my van. You can park on the road, however please be mindful of other road users and please don’t block the road.
The grass track racing will follow on the next 3 Fridays starting on the 24th June. This is entry level racing, with the emphasis on fun. Races are short and not too demanding. We aim to put 3 separate races on for each rider and these races will be suitable for everyone that attends club.
Whilst these events are on there will be no Saturday morning sessions, so pack your picnics and come over for a fun nights riding. Also anyone able to help me with marshalling or organising on the night please let me know.
