The annual Sports Awards are a way of recognizing and celebrating the sporting success of sporting individuals and those involved in sport at all levels.

Back to the Chrono in 2018.
After a second successful visit to the Chrono de Nations last October, the organising committee running the Chrono (international) cycling event in Les Herbiers have recently contacted the Newtown Twinning Committee to ask if Newtown would accept the place of honour (as guests of honour) for the next Chrono event in October 2018. The 2018 dates SCCA Reliability Ride Series have now been confirmed

2018 dates for the Friction and Hydraulics Open TT events
Hafren is again holding a 25TT on first Wednesday of June and this year will also be hosting the SCCA Championship 10 on the 1st August 2018.
Both these events are run as an Equal Prize Fund Event (equal prizes for Men and Women)
These TTs are run by SCCA member clubs and form part of a series
They are "Open" events and have to be pre registered (not sign on the line)

On October 22 Hafren CC hosted the final round of our club Cyclocross series.

Sunday 22nd October was the 4th consecutive running of Hafren CC hosting a round of the Welsh Cyclocross Series at Trehafren fields in Newtown.
