CTT have now sanctioned events on Welsh Road and Welsh Government now allows organized outdoors sport.

Great news from both Welsh Government and British Cycling
Hafren CC is pleased to announce that, after 26th April, we have the return of the Club Ride! The first of these will be the Wednesday Dole Ride which occurs, strangely, on a Wednesday. These rides are organised and run by Alun Roberts and he will be posting the location of the first ride shortly so keep an eye on the website and Facebook page for details.

The club actively encourages the use of front lights during Time Trials. For your own safety and that of officials, other competitors and the general public, please use a front light while racing.
The event is open to members and by invitation only. Numbers for the event are limited to 30 to include organizers and volunteers...
Requests have been received from members that the club should
consider donating to a local charity impacted by Coronavirus and the lockdown.
This has been carefully considered by the committee in
regard to the constitutional position of the club in using funds in this way,
the impact on the club’s financial reserves and the response of the club’s membership
to such a request as well as the broader issues faced by charities at this
time.

Lockdown is starting to ease, albeit at a different pace in Wales
to England. British Cycling and Cycling Time Trials have issued guidance for
clubs to be able to hold events.
Although the pace of relaxation of lockdown is slower in Wales, it is likely that the current guidance for holding Time Trials in England from July 8thwill soon apply to us.
