Not long now before the UK and Club Time Trial season starts.
First up – Jason Arnold is the new TT Event Secretary. Tony
Brooks has been the TT secretary since the club started and asked not to be
considered for re-election at the AGM. Jason has volunteered for this and is

Hafren hosts a round of the SCCA Reliability Ride series.
Cancelled - Another COVID-19 victim
New for this year - Ambers Woodfired Pizza Van (bring some cash and enjoy a post ride Pizza)
First event of the year is the Club’s round of the SCCA Reliability Rides Series on Sunday 5th April. Sign on is from 8:30 at Berriew Community Centre, with first riders off at 9:30
This event will once again replace the regular Sunday Club ride for that day. Entry fee £3
Club Subs for 2020 now due.
Club Membership renewal for 2020 is due on the 1st January.
Subscriptions are unchanged from last year.
A reminder that membership lapses if not renewed by 29th February and if not renewed you will not be able to take part in Sunday Club Rides, get points in Club Race series or race in CTT or BC events in club kit

Both Hafren Cycling Club (Club of the Year) and Paul Bufton (Coach of the Year) have been shortlisted for the Welsh Cycling Awards to be held on Saturday 12st October 2019 at The Sophia Gardens Cricket Ground in Cardiff. New Format for 2019 Championships
The club won't be hosting a round of the Welsh Cyclo Cross Championships this year. We will look at it again for 2020, but need someone to step forward as Event Organizer.
We are sticking with the format of best 3 rides from 4 counting events, but with our own not on the list have opted for some nearer home rather than in the Welsh League
