Club TT Series Round 2 – 10 May 2017

Round two of this years time trial series saw 28 riders tackle the Berriew 10 mile course for the first time.  Conditions were as near to perfect as they could be and some very fast times were posted. Overall winner was Philip Thomas (his first win) in an excellent time of 22 minutes 10 seconds.  In second place was Peter Thomas (no relation) and third was Ian Coe.  The womens competition was again won by Rebecca Richardson who completed the course ...

Roadworks on the course caused the evenings event to be drastically reduced to just over three miles and making it more of a season opening prologue.  Nonetheless thirty riders took to the start.  Starting the year as he finished last year, the winner was Bryn Davies in a time of 7 mins 57 secs with Ian Coe 20 seconds behind.  First female (and third overall!) was Rebecca Richardson in 8 mins 22 secs.
