A warm, muggy night with a light cross wind made for fine, if tough, racing conditions for the 21 riders who took to the Welshpool 10 on Wednesday Lucy Davies, in a rare appearance this year in the club series, showed that her 2 up time trials have paid dividends, posting 25:42 to take top spot in the Women’s race and joint 10th overall. Louise Downward posted her best time on this course this year with a very impressive 27:23 for second with Sahrah wil

Hafren TT Series Round 14 – Newtown 12.5 17th August

Great racing conditions with a warm, dry and still night, saw a smaller than normal field as many regular competitors were on holiday. This didn’t stop fast times on a very competitive night, with Pete Thomas taking top spot in the men’s event in under 30 minutes on the longer version of this course. Phil Thomas was second (31.02) with a tie for third between Conrad Taylor and Dilwyn Griffiths (31.47) The women’s event was taken by Louise Downward (38.4...

With road works affecting the original Crudgington - Shawbirch - Tern Hill course the old Prees - Market Drayton course came into use to great effect, with Matt Davies blazing around the course in 51 minutes 57 seconds - not only his best County 25 of 2016 shaving 1:15 off his previous be...

Hafren CC 2-Up 10

It was a straight shootout for medals in the 8th and final round of The Coaching Revolutions 2-Up Series with  Bryn Davies and Pete Thomas in pole position as Ed Middleton and Scott Harris looked to retain their Championship. Ludlow CC ‘Scenic’ 10

It was a decisive evening at the Ludlow 'Scenic' 10 at Long Meadowend as the destination of six medals was determined in Round 14 of the SB Sports Injuries Series. A season-long battle between Bryn Davies and Tim Beardmore was resolved as Davies placed himself in an unassailable position in both the Overall and Veteran's standings - despite not winning on the night. Wrekinsport CC 2-Up 10

There were shades of the old Freiheit classic "Keeping The Dream Alive" about the performance put in by reigning champions Ed Middleton and Scott 'Bomber' Harris as they did just that in round 7 of the Coaching Revolutions 2-Up Series. Needing the maximum 20 points only a win would bring to set up a down-to-the-wire head-to-head battle royale to decide the destinations of the Gold and Silver medals with Series leaders Bryn Davies and Pete Thomas in the...
