Here’s a date for your diary – 3rd June is the Hafren CC Open 10 mile Time Trial. It takes place on the usual Welshpool 10 mile course (the D10/8R), with a field of 80 riders and the first rider off at 19:00. All riders who compete score points in the SCCA Friction & Hydraulic Services series. Entries close 18:00hrs this Saturday 23rd.
The event headquarters will be the Flash Leisure Centre in Welshpool, just a short ride from the start. Sign on if from 18:15 to 18:45 at the Flash If Hafren club riders want to race that night they must register for the open event either via Cycling Time Trials website (Page 7 on the list). Or you can enter by post (details in the handbook and CTT events page.) The email address on the CTT webpage has a typo, so won’t work. I’ve tried to get it changed, but no luck so far. Any difficulties, private message me on the Hafren facebook page for details. If you are entering by post, please make cheques payable to Hafren CC – thanks.
